Growing up, I was a HUGE fan of Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian stories and later in High School I read Tolkien´s Middle Earth. This excellent book was an introduction into the Norse mythology to me and was followed by the epic Anglo-Saxon story Beowulf and of course the “Finnesburg Fragment“. They were among the first books I´ve ever read; an adolescent boy’s dream. With advancing age my passion for Norse religion and sagas grew and I decided to develop my own graphic novels about these themes.
From reading authentic norse sagas and historical tradition I gained inspiration and added my own ideas. In my graphic novels I provide an insight into the daily life and religious practices in pre- and viking age scandinavia.
My first graphic novel ” The Wife of Freyr” is now available on Amazon.com as paperback and e-book. ENJOY IT!
